What Makes this Crockpot Ribs Recipe Paleo-Friendly?

To make ribs paleo-friendly, you will use clean, whole-food ingredients that align with paleo guidelines. You will start with high-quality pork ribs. The main concern with traditional rib recipes is the barbecue sauce, which often contains added sugars, soy, corn syrup, and preservatives.

For a paleo version, you will use spices to season your ribs. Be sure to check your spice blends for hidden sugars or additives. For sauce, you can buy a paleo-friendly BBQ sauce. Or, you can make your own paleo-friendly BBQ sauce using natural ingredients like tomato sauce, balsamic vinegar, onion powder, smoked paprika, and a touch of raw honey for sweetness.
